Multi Network (and Extra Departmental) Task Management

Top of page

Multi-Network capability means consistent data availability despite decentralized data generation and network control allowing for 1:1 organisational representation of even complex structures within an operational body, also referred to as 'cross-sub-departmental' approach. In other words it is possible to organise some separated networks in one central office. The big advantage of this feature is, that you can use the data of network '1' and the data of network '2' crosswise or even combined in a 'virtual' network.

e.g.: A large community operating some municipal monitoring sites has also federal ones in its vicinity, running them all together as a virtual community network without interfering with the central system.

User Role & System Access

'Safety first' - and old proverb more important for stable operation than ever.

To organise user acces and their respective activities and duties at best, a direct assignment of socalled user rights in combination with "revision" levels as a measure of priority as well as common passwording methods support the needs of everyday life properly within an environmental department.

Typically a QA-manager may interact with the system at a higher so called "revision" level than a simple assistant worker. An activated "call back" routine enhances security if remote system access is required when entering the system from outside during weekend service.

Operating Network Prospect

Facility management based on an 'early-morning-overview' by a graphical 'look up' chart eases day-to-day surveillance and maintenace exercises.

Quick rescue actions without heavy interference with routine maintenance tasks become possible, by direct linking to informations concerning measurement unit history and also instant availability reports on display.

Additionally graphical minutes of calibration results will support remotely proper analyzer diagnosis and aid preparations for necessary adjustments in advance.

Monitoring Equipment Administrator

For the administration of all network specific informations a 'Logbook' is available. A large number of presentation possibilities allow for directed information in a highly specified and filtered way, like monitoring sites, pollutants, causes of error, analyzer status, and much more, including individually arranged printouts for proper documentation.

Further commentation of determined situations and events within the network can be exactly marked by input of texts, whereby these information is always and for everyone who is authorized, (question of 'revision' level) at disposal. The Monitor tracker improves quality assurance purposes and makes available a lot of information regarding instrument use, time of use and place of use.

The Calibration certificate editor provides acquisition and storage of relevant data to further keeping track of instrument life to close the flow of information.
